Description:
The thermowell has a uniform outer diameter along its entire insertion length. This is the most basic design.

Real-Life Application:
Best for low-pressure, low-velocity processes. Commonly used in tanks, boilers, and utility lines with minimal flow.

Specification:
Offers good corrosion protection (due to thick wall) but has the lowest mechanical strength and slowest response time to temperature changes.

Stainless Steel (304, 316), Carbon Steel, Brass, Monel.
