Coil (Pigtail) Syphon

Description & Application

• Features a 360-degree coil (or “pigtail”). This coil traps condensate to form a protective barrier.
• The most common type for steam applications. Highly effective in horizontal pipe installations. The coil’s shape is also excellent at dissipating heat.
• Used extensively for steam and other hot vapors. The loop must be installed horizontally to properly trap the condensate seal.
Materials: Carbon Steel (CS), Stainless Steel (SS 304 / SS 316).
